Broccoli Salad #2
Modified for lower fat!

1 c. Smart Balance mayonnaise (this mayo has a slightly sweeter taste, so I cut back on the sugar)
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
3/4 c. crumbled bacon (I cut back on the bacon. Ham can be used instead – chopped very small)
1/2 - 3/4 c. red onion diced
2 large broccoli heads, cut into small pieces
1 cup craisins (I use the orange flavored)
1 c. sunflower seeds (pine nuts are great, too)
1/2 tsp. Mrs. Dash
(I get lazy about separating out pomegranate seeds for the salad...but they do really add a nice touch. I did not put any in the salad that you had.)
I usually mix up the dressing first in a separate bowl – combine the mayo, sugar, cider vinegar, and Mrs. Dash's, then pour it over and mix.
