Thai Chai Tea
Submitted by Cleo Home

1 cup nonfat dry milk powder (typically one packet of dry mix)
¾ cup powdered non-dairy creamer (I use lite or sugar free)
¾ cup french vanilla flavored powdered non-dairy creamer (I use lite or sugar free)
2 ½ cups sugar (or ¾ to 1 cup Splenda or other sweetner)
2 cups unsweetened unflavored instant tea
2 tsp ginger
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cardamom
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp black pepper

In a large bowl, combine milk powder, non-dairy creamers, sugar and instant tea. Stir in spices. In a blender or food processor (I use my blender), blend about 1 cup at a time until mixture is the consistency of fine powder. To serve, mix about two heaping teaspoons of Chai mix into a mug of hot water.

Note: After the first batch, adjust to the seasoning you prefer. The cardamom is the classic Thai spice along with the extra zip of the black pepper.
